Hi, I’m Ongelique - founder and stylist behind Fifth Hair Studio.

With 18 years of experience in the hair industry, I specialise in expert color work, particularly blondes - from bright, high-impact blondes to beautifully blended, lived-in tones that grow out seamlessly. My approach is always tailored, modern, and focused on maintaining the integrity and health of your hair.

I am NZQA qualified and internationally Qualified, with a strong technical foundation and a commitment to ongoing education. In addition to my hairdressing qualifications, I have also completed Business Management studies - giving me not only the creative expertise behind the chair, but the professionalism and structure to run a refined, client-focused studio experience.

Fifth Hair Studio was born after welcoming my two babies into the world. I wanted to create a better work–life balance while building something that truly reflected my values - a relaxed, inclusive, and elevated space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

This is a private, one-on-one studio designed to feel calm yet upmarket - where luxury meets warmth. My goal is simple: beautiful, confidence-boosting results delivered with care, expertise, and attention to detail.
